Thought I heard the buzzing of Paul Cyr and Gary Lavaway’s motorized parachute in between rain showers over the weekend, but wasn’t sure until now. Check out these super cool photos that showed up in my inbox this morning of Quadomated a few days after the pavement and just before the two giant mounds of dirt got spread out.
Then after a sunny Monday and Tuesday… Can you believe it… Two sunny days in a row!
The ground was finally dry enough for the earthworks crew to get their heavy equipment onto the job and start moving those giant two piles of dirt back onto our lawn where they belong. PEW! Never realized how smelly rotten sod could be… Smelled almost like a landfill up here for the first few hours!
We all had crossed our fingers that the rain would hold off long enough for the Earthworks crew to finish our groundwork and get everything seeded, but mother nature had other thoughts and the sky absolutely opened up Wednesday evening and turned our entire place into one great big mud pit. Will summer ever arrive?
