It was a real treat to feel the 60+ degree weather and warm sun absorb into my fleece. I took the opportunity to go for probably my last “tool” around town before it gets too cold for me to enjoy. Drove my wheelchair down to North Street to see all my friends at County Physical Therapy and for a tuneup on my shoulder, than across town on the bike path, and up the hill to enjoy the job site/weather with the Michaud brothers, roofers, and a bunch of other visitors.
Everyone made solid progress yesterday and were happy to be staying dry and not in the rain. More dirt was dumped around the site (in total about 40 loads), the roofers are about halfway done, and Jerry & Mike about halfway around the house with the soffit and fascia.
With several hundred yards of dirt being dumped over the past few days our house lot is really looking like quite the mess. I’ve already talked to the earthworks boys and it sounds like they’ll be smoothing it out next week as soon as the shingles and lumber are out-of-the-way.
Received a huge order from Monoprice the other night. I’ll be sure to post photos of everything very soon!
Man,…windows…roofing…its all coming together.
This is looking good!
