There’s certainly plenty of things to write about tonight. Pretty amazing that I’m finding it difficult to keep up with the blog because I’m at the house so often, but I feel like a chimpanzee with his first taste of cotton candy. I just can’t get enough and want to be up there all day long while the guys are busy at work, and then scurry around at home to keep up with the rest of my life. Being there is just so addicting, most times I can’t force myself to leave and when the sun is out, well… I’ve got to get my D vitamins and suntan!
So what has happened?
my mother says it’s hideous 🙂
Look how straight the lines are!
And… Drumroll… The Kitchen Cabinets!!!
Yesterday morning I arrived to the house to see the Michaud boys unloading heavy box after heavy box from the SW Collins truck. It was so exciting I honestly couldn’t contain myself, like I was beyond emotion, so happy I had to call mom and tell her that they were installing the cabinets and that they were the wrong color. Yup… She believed it! My mom will believe anything 🙂 But the cabinets were absolutely the right color and far more beautiful than I could have ever possibly imagined.
When we were going through the whole arduous process of choosing our kitchen cabinets we decided to go with a more middle priced company (Starmark) and look at one of their simpler door styles in their finest material (Cherry). I think the results speak for themselves. We get an absolutely beautiful kitchen at a very reasonable price. We love the sleek, simple lines and love the richness of the cherry in the Papirika stain.
And let’s not forget the carpenters and that made it look so beautiful.
Now I can’t wait to be up there tomorrow! They’re laying the tile to my room… SO EXCITED!
Ready for a ton of punch downs yet? House is looking awesome! All the automation and such coming along as well? Gotten to test anything yet?

Will do that on Monday.I do have a single CAT5e Keystone up there that I'll hopefully trial fit today. As for the automation it's all curled up in its cabinets and waiting a few more days for the dust to settle and then it'll be go time! What's you next week/weekend looking like. Up for punching some 110s?
