Caleb and I have been working on a pretty cool trick over the past several weeks and wanted to share the progress with you. What we call it is… “I’m Thirsty”, and it involves Caleb taking off running across the house, pulling a towel on my mini beverage refrigerator to open the door, grabbing me a drink, and then running back across the house, jumping into my lap, and giving me the drink… Of course all this is because he loves me so much or maybe it’s the treats in my hand he loves so much. Either way it’s awfully dang cool!
Probably the funniest thing about Caleb’s new talent is the habit he’s gotten into lately. I mean it’s definitely cool to have a dog that can get you a “soda” out of the fridge, so whenever I have people over I just have to show it off. So lately, you know, being the super dog and all, Caleb has taken it upon himself whenever I have company to go running off across the house and enthusiastically grab me a “soda”. Now what kind of picture is my best buddy painting of me when he just automatically grabs me a “soda”. Definitely that I like my caffeine!
