Not too much to report on today. Spent yesterday morning up on site with the Earthworks crew digging an entrance/laying a 4 inch sleeve for the main water feed into the utility room. We ran into ledge at about 5 feet so 2 inches of foam was placed over the top of the water line. The laser was set up and the crushed rock was leveled to a fine grade within half an inch. You should’ve seen the rate at which Mike and John shoveled away the rocks and the skill at which Josh operated the excavator as he delicately plucked bucked after bucket of washed stone from the dump truck and then finely spread it onto the pad.
Would have pictures for you all, but my camera is being borrowed for another project. Now we’re just waiting on the concrete guys to finish up a large job in Madawaska, pouring the concrete for the new Tim Horton’s, and it will be back to the mechanical guys to lay their radiant heat.
