The weather hasn’t really been our friend this week, but what else can you expect up here in Northern Maine! We have a beautiful summer with scarcely a moment of bad weather and then we start building a house and the farmers start harvesting their potatoes and it’s weeks of crummy weather. Go Maine!
A couple of big things have happened over the past few days. Jerry and his brother spent much of Monday and a few hours this afternoon framing up the interior walls. Gary worked late into Monday night and in the rain Tuesday laying the radiant tubing, and I made a huge automation order this morning!!!
I know Jerry and Mike would like to see this happen very soon because they’re running out of walls to build! If you look inside now you can really start to get a feeling of the space.
Notice the 1 inch piece of conduit sticking up for the island. On the other side of the kitchen wall you can see the drain flush to the concrete for my roll in shower.
Next big steps are for the concrete guys to pour the garage floor and the rafters to show up Monday. Probably won’t be a whole lot to talk about construction-wise until then so I’m going to switch gears and start talking automation/techie stuff now.
Mike,Looks great so far – very exciting! I'm getting updates to my phone…Dennis
Cool, cool bud… glad to know you're following!
